White Lasagna

Creamy white lasagna is filled with cheesy layers of pasta, sausage and mushrooms, a silky bechamel, and mozzarella. All of this together makes for a luxurious and decadent lasagna, one your whole family will enjoy.

Using Italian sausage as the meat in this dish adds so much flavor with minimal effort—the sausage itself has fennel, herbs, and piquant warmth—while the mushrooms add a ton of umami. This is a bechamel-only lasagna (i.e. there is no ricotta), so every layer is super creamy and silky.

Of course, this white lasagna is fairly labor intensive (as most lasagnas are), but since it’s so luxurious, a compact slice is still a plenty generous serving so one pan can really feed a crowd (or you can have lots of leftovers).
