Stone’s Throw Brewing, located in downtown Little Rock’s MacArthur Park at 402 E. Ninth St., has been burglarized twice in roughly three weeks and is asking the community to lend a hand identify a suspect.
Theron Cash, one of the brewery’s owners, told the Arkansas Times on Thursday that both burglaries occurred just before 5 a.m., first on March 24 and then again on April 15. Surveillance video from inside the brewery shows that the masked intruder(s) wore similar outfits during both burglaries.
Cash said during the first burglary on March 24, the suspect busted out the glass on the front door to enter. Wearing what looks like a homemade paper mask, the suspect tried to utilize brute force to yank the bar’s TVs off the wall. The burglar was only successful in getting one TV. The other was left dangling from the wall.

“It was completely shattered,” Cash said. “The second time I guess he went and googled ‘how to take a TV off the wall’ because he just slipped it right off the wall like it was nothing.”
On Tuesday morning the suspect entered by breaking the glass to enter the bar’s other door. This burglar was wearing a similar outfit, but also what looks to be a better-quality mask. Cash said it looks, to him, like a ski mask. Some social media followers of the bar have commented that the mask might have been pantyhose.

The bar described the suspect as a “Moon Knight looking idiot” in a Facebook post Tuesday. The Moon Knight they’re referring to is a cloaked avenger from Marvel Comics.

The suspect was more successful during the second break-in, making off with one of the replacement TVs Cash bought after the previous burglary, along with the bar’s cash box and register. Stone’s Throw had to quit taking cash until they could get the register replaced. The up-to-date unit arrived while Cash and I were speaking on the phone Thursday afternoon.
Cash said he doesn’t think the police have a suspect, but that members of the community who have cameras have reached out to Stone’s Throw to lend a hand.
