Those inclined to get answers to those questions in the company of other local cinephiles might want to check out the Arkansas Cinema Society’s free annual Oscar watch party at Southern Tail Brewing (900 E. 9th St. in Little Rock). Doors open at 5 p.m., and the ceremony starts at 6 p.m. The live televised awards program will be shown on outdoor and indoor screens, with drink specials at the bar and award show snacks.
