Guitarist Tab Benoit plays The Hall on Monday night

Date:

Four-time Grammy nominee and acclaimed blues musician Tab Benoit takes the stage on Monday at The Hall (721 W. Ninth St.) in Little Rock. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the all-ages show kicks off at 8 p.m. Find ticket information here.

Benoit is touring the U.S. in support of his first fresh album in 13 years, “I Hear Thunder,” which has been praised by Blues Blast for its “tight grooves and rocking cuts.” The album is well worth a listen for anyone interested in fiery guitars and bluesy explorations of romantic loss — and who isn’t? Last September, the album hit No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Album chart. “The recording has a crisp, live-in-the-studio sound, making it feel like you’re on the bayou, watching it all go down,” wrote Rock and Blues Muse.
