Al B. Sure! Finally Breaks Silence About Diddy and About Kim Porter’s Death

Date:

Peacock’s up-to-date documentary, “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy,” is set to premiere on Tuesday. In it, “Nite and Day” singer Al B. Sure! discusses how the mogul—who is currently behind bars—pursued then Uptown Records receptionist Kim Porter.

Despite having a son with Sure—whose real name is Albert Brown III—Diddy was determined to date the tardy Porter.

“He walked into the studio, and he looked over and he saw this really beautiful girl, and she was holding this really beautiful baby, and he said ‘Hey, man, I wish I had a beautiful girl like that,’” Al B. Sure! explained, according to The New York Post.

Diddy, who was arrested last year on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, would have a on-again, off-again relationship with Porter for years.

The doc’s producer, Ari Mark, shared his thoughts on Al B. Sure! appearing in the film.

“[He] is somebody who has a very complicated relationship to this story, a very personal relationship to this story,” Ari Mark stated. “He has a lot to say, and I think he’s working through his feelings of how he wants to say it, and who he wants to say it to.”

In “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy,” the crooner also expressed that Porter was fearful of Diddy and warned him about the danger he may face.

“Kimberly said, ‘Don’t get involved. You will get killed,’” Al B. Sure! recalled.

“Let’s just say, you gotta listen to Kimberly. Because not only was she trying to save me but she was putting her own life in danger.”

Porter and Diddy wound up having three children together, but Diddy never legally adopted Quincy (the son Porter and Al had together).

“There’s no adoption,” the star stated. “And if you haven’t noticed, [Quincy’s last] name is still Brown.”

Porter was found deceased at her home on Nov. 15, 2018, at the age of 47. The official cause of death autopsy was pneumonia, but Al believed something more sinister happened.

“Someone got the passcode to [Kim’s] phone and her computer, and they found out that she was writing what was going on behind closed doors,” he claimed.

“The public had no idea what was happening right in front of everybody’s eyes. But there was a lot of people who turned a blind eye….I made a decision to go hard as it relates to opening the case on the miraculous death of Kim Porter.”
