He Was An Early Starter
Eubanks first picked up a tennis racket at age 2. His father Mark introduced him to the sport and coached him until he was a newborn teenager.
He’s One of the Tallest Tennis Players
In the tennis world, it’s not a requirement to be super towering but there is an advantage to it. Eubanks stands at 6-foot-7, which makes him one of the tallest players in the ATP Tour. This gives him a great advantage, especially with his serve.
He’s Was a Slow Burner
Eubanks had not gone past the second round of a Grand Slam before Wimbledon. The only other time he reached the quarterfinals was in doubles at the 2020 U.S. open with Mackenzie McDonald.

Former Coach Used to Call Him “The Mayor”
Aside from Eubanks’ father being his original coach since he was two, he was also coached by Donald Young who was a top 50 player at the time. Young was the one who began calling Eubanks “The Mayor” for his ability to network with anyone.
He Recently Had a Breakthrough
Perhaps the most notable achievement Eubanks accomplished came in 2023 when he reached the quarterfinals of the Miami Open. This performance helped boost his ranking and showcased his potential to compete at a higher level. Because he seemed to be an underdog, his ability to perform against other high-ranking players caught the attention of the tennis world.
